The English Dub Cast for the Upcoming Bad Girl Anime Revealed
The anticipation for the upcoming anime adaptation of Nikumaru’s popular manga, Bad Girl, has been building, and now fans have even more to look forward to. The streaming service HIDIVE has unveiled the English dub cast for the television anime, featuring a stellar lineup of voice actors.

Bad Girl follows the story of Yuu Yuutani, a high school freshman who, despite her tough appearance with large piercings, two-tone hair, and an intimidating gaze, is actually a good-hearted student. Her crush on the school’s Madonna, Atori Mizutori, leads her to adopt a “bad girl” persona to gain Atori’s attention. However, Yuu’s attempts at being bad are anything but convincing, adding a humorous twist to the narrative.
The series is directed by Takeshi Furuta, known for his work on the 2021 adaptation of Shaman King. Shoji Yonemura handles the series composition, bringing his extensive experience from shows like Pokรฉmon and Fairy Tail. The character designs are by Yลซki Morimoto, who previously worked on Miss Monochrome. The music is composed by Arisa Okehazama, who has contributed to notable series like Jujutsu Kaisen and The Apothecary Diaries.
Nikumaru’s four-panel manga debuted in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat in December 2020. The fifth compiled book volume was published on July 26, further expanding the world of Bad Girl for fans to enjoy.
The visual for the anime, featuring six key characters, has been released, adding to the excitement surrounding the series.
