The production team behind the second season of the anime adaptation of Yûji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku has unveiled the third promotional video. This teaser introduces the ending theme song “PERSONAL,” performed by Queen Bee.

The anime is set to premiere on January 11 at 11:45 p.m. on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. Following this, the series will be available for streaming in Japan 30 minutes later on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Lemino.
Crunchyroll will stream the new season as it airs.

The returning staff includes Kaori Makita, who will direct the anime at MAPPA. Twin Engine is credited for planning. Akira Kindaichi is in charge of the series scripts. Akitsugu Hisagi is responsible for character design, and Yoshiaki Dewa will compose the music. Ayako Suenaga returns as the color key artist.
New staff members include Chika Toda, who will serve as the compositing director of photography, replacing Hyo Gyu Park. Junichi Higashi will take on the role of art director, replacing e-caesar.
Tatsuya Kitani featuring BABYMETAL will perform the opening theme song “Kasuka na Hana” (Faint Flower).
The first season of the anime premiered in April 2023 and aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll in America, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The series is available on Netflix in Asian-Pacific countries, excluding Australia, New Zealand, and China. Crunchyroll is also streaming an English dub.
The manga follows Gabimaru, once hailed as the strongest ninja, who has since abandoned his trade, violating his village’s laws. After being captured, he claims to have no will to live. However, due to his intense training, he has survived multiple execution attempts. The executioner Sagiri Asaemon suggests that Gabimaru still has a lingering attachment to life and issues him a mission to find the elixir of immortality to win his acquittal.
Kaku launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in January 2018 and concluded the series in January 2021. The manga’s 13th and final volume was released in April 2021.
Viz Media released the manga digitally through its Shonen Jump service, and Shueisha also made it available through its MANGA Plus service. Viz Media also publishes the manga in print.
The manga’s second stage play adaptation, Hell’s Paradise -Tsui no Shō-, ran in Tokyo and Kyoto in February 2024.
Twin Engine launched the Hell’s Paradise: Paradise Battle survival role-playing game based on the manga for iOS, Android, and Windows on November 4.
