The latest promotional video introduces and showcases the anime’s ending theme song, “Better Off,” performed by iScream. This revelation comes as part of the ongoing buildup to the anime’s premiere on Nippon TV, setting the stage for a delightful viewing experience.

One of the standout additions to the cast is Konomi Kohara, who will be lending her voice to the mysterious girl Okamoto, who appears near the protagonist, Yano. Fans are excited to see how her character will contribute to the narrative and interactions within the anime.

The anime is set to make its debut on September 30, 2025, at 25:35 JST on Nippon TV, which translates to October 1 at 1:35 JST for viewers. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Wednesdays at 1:29 a.m. JST. The anime features an impressive lineup of talent both in front of and behind the camera.

The sound direction is overseen by Yayoi Tateishi, with contributions from notable series like Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable and Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions. The story centers on Yoshida’s decision to support Yano as she witnesses his daily misfortunes and unwavering resolve to backing him up.

Originally launched on the Comic Days website in June 2021, the manga continues its serialization and has already seen the publication of its 10th volume. The popularity of the source material is evident as it inspired not only the upcoming anime, but also a live-action film that premiered in Japan in November 2024.
