Akira Hizuki and Minmi Tachibana debut a new full-color, vertically-scrolling Queens Blade spinoff manga – Manga

Nanashi’s Reincarnation manga now available on Fire CROSS manga website starting Monday.

The Fire CROSS manga website from Hobby Japan has introduced a new full-color, vertical-scrolling Queen’s Blade spinoff manga titled Nanashi’s Reincarnation on Monday. The manga is illustrated by Akira Hizuki (Desire Pandora) and Minmi Tachibana, while Hobby Japan is acknowledged for creating the original content. This new spinoff manga is part of the Queen’s Blade franchise‘s 20th-anniversary project set for 2025.

The new manga follows Nanako Tadano, an office worker who dies from exhaustion and is reincarnated as Nanashi in a world reminiscent of her favorite anime, Queen’s Blade Legend. Upon her rebirth, she accidentally unleashes a legendary monster and becomes a powerful and attractive fighter. Despite her abilities, Nanashi opts to keep her powers hidden and watch the intense duels between her beloved characters.

The spinoff manga is inspired by the Queen’s Blade Unlimited anime series, and other characters from the franchise also make guest appearances in the manga.

Queen’s Blade Unlimited, the most recent anime installment from the franchise, premiered its initial episode in 2018, followed by a second episode release in 2020.

The original Queen’s Blade anime, adapted from Hobby Japan‘s combat picture book series based on the Lost Worlds game, debuted in 2009. Since then, the franchise has led to two more TV anime series, numerous original video anime, manga, and novels. Media Blasters distributed the first two anime series in North America, while Sentai Filmworks handled the release of the third series and the Queen’s Blade: Beautiful Warriors OVA.
