A fresh collaboration is set to captivate manga enthusiasts as seasoned Kamen Rider screenwriter Toshiki Inoue joins forces with Rosen Garten Saga creator Bakotsu Tonooka for an upcoming project titled Shadow Season. The series will debut on November 21 under Comiplex‘s digital platform.
Inoue previously worked with Taro Chiaki on Despair Memory Gundam Sequel, a continuation of the iconic Gundam franchise, which began serialization in July 2022. The fifth volume of this series recently hit shelves on September 29 under the Comiplex Heroes imprint.
With a career spanning over four decades, Inoue made his writing debut in 1981 with contributions to the Dr. Slump animated adaptation. His extensive portfolio includes numerous high-profile anime and manga projects.
Tonooka gained recognition through Rosen Garten Saga, which debuted in 2020 and has since released fourteen compiled volumes, the most recent published on October 29. The series is available internationally through Comikey’s English-language platform.
