Code Vein II roars onto PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026
The dystopian RPG sequel Code Vein II revs its engine with a fresh producer diary, peeling back the curtain on its signature motorcycle. Bandai Namco America dropped the video Wednesday, accelerating hype for this blood-steeped saga:
Bandai Namco paints the game’s world with these strokes:
In CODE VEIN II’s crimson tapestry, players navigate a dying world where humanity’s last survivors wage war against the monstrous Luna Rapacis. As a Revenant Hunter guided by time-weaving Lou, you’ll rewrite history’s darkest chapters – intervening in pivotal moments to transform fates and unearth hidden truths that could salvage the future.
The combat system bleeds fresh mechanics: steal enemies’ vitality to unlock abilities, wield metamorphic Blood Codes, and harness Jails – living weapons that evolve with battle. Partner bonds run deeper than steel, with each ally offering unique skills and story revelations.
Its predecessor first surged into Japanese markets in September 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC after weathering a delay from its initial September 2018 target. Ufotable’s signature animation flair brought the original’s opening sequence to life, set to VAMPS’ thunderous “Underworld” theme. Meanwhile, Kotoni Shiroishi’s CODE VEIN -Memory echoes- manga adaptation began serializing in Dengeki PlayStation during June 2018.
